June and September 2012
 (dates to be confirmed)

Ken is an accomplished artist and designer with considerable experience of instructing in all media. Has been commissioned to paint on many occasions and has exhibited work at numerous venues.
He will help you to see and interpret a variety of subjects on an exciting week of painting and drawing.

During your week with Ken we will visit a local market for sketching and then spend time working the sketches into paintings in the studio. Nearby are wonderful geranium clad villages with rambling streets and  old churches full of character.  Not forgetting the mountains all around just waiting challenge your painting and drawing techniques.  They may sit still but you have to be quick as the light changes all the time.

During the week we will visit Collioure on the Mediterranean coast.  This is where Matisse, Derain and Soutine painted.  The village is full of colourful houses.  There are three bays with boats, swimmers and ducks to paint and the famous bell tower and church.

The cost for a week is 700 Euros per person

or 650 Euros for two artists sharing a room.

Non-painting partners and artists not requiring tuition are very welcome at 600 Euros for the week.

Included in the price are your meals and tuition and pick up from Perpignan airport or railway station.  Flights and holiday insurance are not included.

To reserve your place or for further information please contact Carolynn
