Ann Blockley is a watercolour artist with an individual style developed over years of experimenting. Her paintings are evocative, atmospheric and intuitive. Textures, marks, edge values and mood fascinate Ann and form the basis of her demonstrations and tuition.

Her longstanding passion has been for flowers and nature, inspired by the gardens and countryside close to her Cotswold studio. She is one of UK’s leading flower painters, with a long list of flower painting books published by Harper Collins. Landscapes, buildings and animals, seen on her travels both in UK and abroad, have inspired Ann to paint new subjects and develop fresh ideas.

This week of tuition is aimed at the more experienced level of painters and is not suitable for beginners at watercolour. 

• Mountain scenery, peach and olive orchards surrounding Mas Saurine
• Farm buildings, old abbeys and churches, idyllic French geranium clad villages
• Interesting windows, doors, balconies, flower pots, rooftops
• Markets (sketching or just shopping!)

The cost for the week is 1100 Euros per painter or
900 Euros each for two painters sharing a room.
Non- painting partners 700 Euros per week or

900 Euros for the Mediterranean Cookery Course.

Included in the price is: All tuition, accommodation, delicious meals made with locally grown ingredients and prepared by our professional chef Julia, collection from Perpignan airport and station.
Flights and holiday insurance are not included.
