Mediterranean Cookery Courses
Courses are usually held in conjunction with painting weeks in May, June September and October but are available at other times for groups of up to

Chef extraordinaire Julia Garrick has Cookery Diplomas in both England and France. She is great fun and an excellent tutor. She will demonstrate a full range of cooking techniques and help you to acquire a whole new level of cooking expertise and understanding of flavours. 
Raspberry Bavarois - tastes as good as it looks....
These courses are suited to people of all cooking abilities. The only thing that you need bring with you is a love of good food and wine. Everyone has a great time and you get to eat all your hard work and really appreciate what goes into those fantastic dishes. You have a folder with all of the recipes to take home to wow your family and friends with your new skills.
Classes are deliberately small groups with individual attention. The emphasis is on preparing delicious meals from locally grown in-season produce.
During the week you will learn how to prepare meat, fish and vegetables. Make delicious sauces. Visit a typical French market for fresh ingredients. Make mouth watering desserts. Working with a top chef you learn all those little tips and techniques that are not readily available in cookery books. Julia will demonstrate and explain the techniques and then it is your turn to have a go!

There is excellent walking country all around us and we have the pool open from May to end of September both of which are a great way to work off any extra kilos gained during the week. Our dogs Maurice and Molly are happy to show guests their favourite walks.
There is a day off mid week when we visit Collioure on the coast (40 minutes away) for you to relax and enjoy someone else’s hard work. It is meant to be a holiday after all.
The cost for the week on full board is 900 Euros per person.
Two cooks sharing a room is 800 Euros each per week
