A studio based course to brush up on drawing, observation and basic painting techniques. We will also go out, weather permitting to do some sketching.
12th to 19th April Spring plein air painting
For all mediums and abilities, a week in the countryside to capture the wonderful blossoms and last snows on the mountains. Carolynn will be on hand to help you every step of the way.
7th to 21st June – Painting and Mediterranean Cookery weeks
Wonderful summertime (but not too hot) artists in their element capturing the fabulous countryside with Carolynn to help you along the way. Also, new for 2008 Mediterranean Cookery Courses with our chef Julia for your non-painting partners.
6th to 13th September – Exploring Abstraction with Penny Wilton
A fantastic opportunity to for both beginners and more experienced artists to explore abstract concepts, using different types of media to achieve spontaneous results. Penny is a well- established contemporary artist and tutor who will make use of the local colour, scenery and textures and show how these can be incorporated in a variety of abstract techniques.
Bring your usual paints and brushes and enthusiasm and we will provide the rest!
13th to 20th September – Watercolour Workshop with Jackie Devereux
Jackie Devereux is a Council Member of the 'Society of Graphic Fine Art' in London. She is a very enthusiastic teacher and gives her students great inspiration with her dynamic approach. Her demonstrations are stimulating and thought-provoking and will stir your creative juices. A week with Jackie will change the way you think about watercolour and open your eyes to a whole new way of painting with expert guidance at your own pace.
The cost for Residential Painting Courses
820 Euros per person per week or
750 Euros each for two artists sharing a room
Non- painting partners 620 Euros per week.
The cost for Mediterranean Cookery courses
900 Euros per week
Non cooking/painting partners 620 Euros per week
This is on full board basis with all tuition included and pick and from Perpignan airport.
Flights and holiday insurance are not included.
We do have some availability at other times so if you want to come or your own and not with a group or on a specific course please let us know and we will see what we can do.
