Watercolour workshops with award winning artist
JACKIE DEVEREUX
S.G.F.A.

13 to 20 September 2008
Jackie Devereux is greatly influenced by the graphic quality of Japanese art, and the light of her adopted country, France. Her first love is pure watercolour, but she is equally at home with pen and ink as well as pastels.
She will quite often incorporate an element of calligraphic work into a collage with fine hand embossing, which she has pioneered. All of these disciplines have evolved over a number of years during which time she has shared her knowledge and experience by running workshops and courses, painting holidays and latterly writing.
Jackie is a very enthusiastic teacher and gives her students great inspiration with her dynamic approach. Her demonstrations are stimulating and thought-provoking and will stir your creative juices.
There are plenty of fine artists but surprisingly few of them are able to convey their knowledge effectively. Jackie is one of those few. A week with Jackie will change the way you think about watercolour and open your eyes to a whole new way of painting with expert guidance at your own pace.
During your week at Mas Saurine with Jackie there are five days of tuition with one rest day for you to either work on your own or which you might like to use to visit a vineyard, a trip to the beach or a local museum.
