MEDITERRANEAN COOKERY COURSES

Chef extraordinaire Julia Garrick has Cookery Diplomas in both England and France. She is great fun and a great tutor. She will demonstrate a full range of cooking techniques and help you to acquire a whole new level of cooking expertise and understanding of flavours.

These courses are suited to people of all cooking abilities. The only thing that you need bring with you is a love of good food and wine.
Classes are deliberately small groups with individual attention. The emphasis is on preparing delicious meals from locally grown in-season produce.
Learn how to prepare meat, fish and vegetables. Make delicious sauces. Visit a typical French market for fresh ingredients. Make mouth watering desserts. Visit a local cave to taste the wine and oil mill to try the olive oil of the region.
Mas Saurine offers a tranquil location set in the foothills of the Pyrenees and surrounded by fruit orchards. We are close to five villages and local shopping, bars and restaurants.
Staying in luxury accommodation you can work off all those extra kilos gained in our outdoor pool. There are great walks from the door and Maurice our terrier is happy to accompany anyone who wishes to explore the surrounding countryside.
There is a day off mid week when we visit Collioure on the coast (40 minutes away) for you to relax and enjoy someone else’s hard work. It is meant to be a holiday after all.
The cost for the week on full board is 900 Euros per person. Two cooks sharing a room is 800 Euros each per week and non cooking partners 620 Euros per week.
